Hasil gambar dari pemotretan di dalam ruangan hasilnya tidaklah memuaskan karena tidak adanya lampu flash. Foto dipenuhi dengan noise. Sementara hasil foto di luar ruangan masih bisa dianggap bagus, standar kamera ponsel.

Konektivitas

Untuk urusan konektivitas Nokia 5230 juga tidak kalah lengkap dengan ponsel Symbian S60 5th edition lainnya. Ponsel ini telah dilengkapi dengan modem HSDPA 3,6 mbps.

Bersama Bluetooth dan kabel data, ketiganya menjadi andalan Nokia 5230 dalam melakukan koneksi ke internet dan perangkat lainnya. Namun sayang Nokia 5230 tidak dilengkapi fitur WiFi seperti yang ada pada Nokia 5800 XpressMusic.

Aplikasi

Kita tidak perlu repot untuk mencari aplikasi pelengkap untuk Nokia 5230 karena di internet telah banyak aplikasi Symbian s60 5th edition yang beredar baik yang berbayar maupun yang gratis. Karena hampir semua pengembang software telah banyak memproduksi software untuk Symbian s60 5th edition.

Secara default Nokia 5230 telah terinstall berbagai aplikasi yang menarik seperti, sejumlah aplikasi office dan GPS. Namun yang paling menarik adalah sejumlah fitur online alias Social networking semisal Facebook dan aplikasi chatting.

Hardware

Nokia 5230 dilengkapi dengan prosessor Arm 11 dengan kecepatan 434 MHz. Masih kalah jika dibandingkan beberapa ponsel bisnis Nokia terbaru. Namun sudah cukup mumpuni untuk keperluan music. Dengan dibantu oleh SDRAM 128 Mb rasanya tidak ada masalah untuk urusan kinerja.

Sementara untuk masalah daya Nokia 5230 menggunakan baterai Li-ion 1320 mAh (BL-5J). Baterai ini sanggup bertahan hingga dua hari dalam sekali charging.

Kesimpulan

Nokia berlayar sentuh atau biasa kita kenal dengan Nokia Symbian s60 5th edition kini sudah mulai terjangkau. Ponsel Nokia 5230 yang dibanderol dengan harga 2 jutaan saja. Namun tetap memiliki sejumlah fitur penting sebuah ponsel multimedia Nokia.

HTC HERO

HTC akhirnya merilis sebuah ponsel pintar terbaru dengan sebuah operating system Android yang telah dimodifikasi sistem interface-nya, HTC HERO.
HTC HERO memiliki layar seluas 3.2 inci dengan resolusi HVGA dan layar ini dioptimalkan untuk pengguna yang sering koneksi dengan internet. Layar pada HTC HERO memiliki lapisan anti-fingerprint yang mencegah layar kotor akibat sentuhan jari. Sebuah kamera digital dengan resolusi 5 megapixel juga dibenamkan pada Hero, serta slot kartu memory microSD untuk penyimpanan data.

BlackBerry Curve 8520

Sinkronisasi Macintos Plus Pilihan WiFi dan GPS
Setelah seri Curve 8900 alias Javelin, BlackBerry kembali menambah satu varian baru generasi Curve-nya ke pasaran. Kali ini diberi nama BlackBerry Curve 8520. Seperti model-model terdahulu, seri ini pun bakal dilepas dengan dua tipe. Pertama yang memiliki koneksi WiFi, dan kedua adalah support GPS navigation.
Bentuk fisiknya tetap mengadopsi model terdahulu, yakni bongsor dengan keyboard full QWERTY. Hanya di curve 8520 ini navigasinya menggunakan Trackpad bukannya Trackball. Soal kejernihan layar, smartphone ini menanamkan lcd TFT MCD 65.536 warna, 320 x 240 piksel seluas 2.64 inci.
Satu hal yang menarik, Curve 8520 diklaim sebagai ponsel pintar pertama BlackBerry yang support Mac OS syncing. Mulai dari sinkronisasi playlist musik iTunes, personal info, memo organiser dan berbagai layanan yang ada untuk Mac desktop. Selain itu, untuk menikmati fitur multimedia, Curve 8520 menanamkan "Media Keys".
Untuk fasilitas lainnya, ada kamera 2MP, Bluetooth v2.0 support A2DP dan "push-base email" yang bisa secara langsung menampilkan pesan email yang masuk, termasuk pengaturan jarak jauh fungsi "inbox" pesan tetap dihadirkan.
